They would not tell me anything when I dropped my car off, but they have an app that’s supposed to let you know when the work is started, estimated day to pick up, etc. I kept checking the app but they never updated it. It was frustrating to left in the dark and without a car. I called Mike twice to request an eta for the part. The first time he said he’d call me back but didn’t. The next morning I left a message for him and Tanya did return my call that afternoon.
Also, they took my car to have it washed and waxed which was a nice gesture, but there was a film of wax reside all over the drivers side so I had to go through the car wash anyway. |

They consistently park 6 to 8 vehicles along the curve of the street, which poses a real hazard for drivers trying to navigate around them. Moreover, their workers frequently drive recklessly through our parking lot instead of using the same road they designated for their parking. It's alarming to witness this behavior. Just today, one of their employees felt it was acceptable to park and blast a loud sound system for 30 minutes while waiting at 7:00 in the morning. This behavior is unacceptable and must change for the safety and well-being of our community. |

the reason for the one star review is simple. I wanted to get an estimate for my car so I went the website to check if I can schedule an appointment. The soonest opening was 2pm, I was already close to the location so I decided that I would drive there and go in person and ask if there was any earlier availability. The guy who helped told me that the earliest that I can come in would be next week, so I said fine and scheduled the appointment. Whether the website was not up to date, or the guy that helped me lied to me, I don't not care. I will also add on the fact that I called the same day, only an hour or so after I scheduled the appointment, and spoke to the same guy that scheduled my appointment and informed him that I wanted to cancel the appointment. He told me sure and thanked me for calling him and letting him know. Apparently he didn't bother to actually cancel the appointment ........... shame |

I used them when they were Steve's and they were always fair in pricing and generally worked with me about what was needed. It was a month before they could get to it, if I had time I might have got other estimates, but these days it feels like collision repair places have the upper hand and charge "by the book," and will mostly have the same high price, which is OK if the insurance covers it, but hard on the individual paying for the work. They are friendly and do great work, so I have no problem highly recommending them. They are also just a short walk from a car rental place. |

Steve's Auto claims to provide a one year warranty on their service, so of course we brought her car back to have them replace the missing right mirror front cover, which they had clearly improperly installed (In conversation with my wife, Steve said he saw no other damage that could account for the cover coming off). We left the car there for a couple of hours and returned to be told that my wife was being charged for another right side mirror front cover. I was horrified. I could hardly believe my ears.
This is the kind of behavior that gives auto service shops a bad name. |

Finally on the third day someone came to look at my car. He jotted down everything on his clipboard, I gave him my number and he said he would look for the parts and call me back within a few days.
A week went by so I called him, he said his guy was still looking for the parts. Two weeks went by, and his guy is will looking for parts and that he will call me when he can figure out how much it will be. That was almost two months ago and I still haven't gotten an estimate.
I came here because this place was highly recommended. I don't know how well they do, I guess I'll never find out. |

But the work they did was good and my car is fixed! Just wish I got more updates as they were working. I understand supply chain and employee illness were probably factors in all this too. |

Ryan and Tanya were fantastic, they walked me through the process, kept me updated with regular communication on where they were with the insurance company, parts and the work. They were always willing to answer any questions I had, in particular how things worked with the insurance company, and I truly appreciate their patience in explaining it all to me.
My repair primarily involved alot of parts on the front end and a very small amount of bodywork, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and I would use them again in the future, albeit I hope to not have to! Pesky Deer! |
