They said my windshield was not Eyesight compatible and they couldn't calibrate my Eyesight without replacing the windshield, which they would of course make me pay for. They replaced the windshield, and shockingly, the guy still couldn't calibrate the Eyesight. The guy wasn't going to be able to calibrate it no matter what. He had to phone a friend to get it to work. Don't bring your Subaru here, you'll get ripped off by technicians who don't know how to work on them!! |

They kept having issues with the replacement doors being damaged when they came in, but they kept me in the loop the entire time. Although they had my car a few extra days due to something out of their control, I didn't even care because of their communication with me. Knowing that the replacement doors they kept ordering were coming in damaged, and they wouldn't accept it, speaks mountains about their business. When I got my car, it was absolutely perfect. 10/10 will be recommending everyone go their for their body repairs! |

During estimate process I was told 5 days for my car. After having it for 2 weeks I get a call saying they are just now getting into the car and found a little bit more damage and end up taking 2 more weeks. So 5 days turned into a whole month. They also didnt do everything they said they would do during the estimate process.
Also the guy who usually does the front desk typically has an attitude during days they are busy, especially if you ask for an estimated time for when your car will be done. |

The technician, Pat, gave me a verbal quote & sent a more detailed one via email the following morning. He then notified me when the needed parts had arrived, which was on Thursday (just two days after I first called!) and asked when I could drop off my car. I dropped my car off that night & by 8:45 the next morning (Friday), I got an email notifying me that my car was repaired & ready to be picked up. When I picked it up that afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised that the price came in far below the original quote, since all of the ordered parts were not necessary for the repair. I could not be happier with the excellent, swift, & honest service provided by Prime Body & Paint. While I hope I don’t have the need to come back, I definitely plan to return here if the need ever arises. |

We have never used Prime, but had met the owner on a few occasions. They were very professional and very reasonable (not that I paid for it), but was pleased with how they charged the other persons insurance. They were prompt, honest and helped with my rental vehicle as well.
I will definitely be recommending them in the future and will use them myself again if needed!

They worked seamlessly with our insurance to coordinate payment and what repairs insurance would approve. The car needed both driver's side doors replaced, and we also had them fix a few door dings while they had it. You'd never know it was in an accident, or that there were a few dents when it went in. They were very communicative, came in at almost exactly the original estimate, and friendly throughout the whole experience. I'd recommend them to anyone needing paint or body work! |

I arrived, it wasn't ready, and the shop was nice. It was not ready due to an ordered part being the wrong part (maybe not their fault, things happen). They said maybe Monday most likely Tuesday. I specifically asked that they inform me of any changes. I call Monday 6/22, still not ready, someone order the wrong part, won't be ready by Tuesday. Two different parts being the wrong part. Neither time did I receive a call to inform me of any changes. Apparently, there is no express service here. |

But the second time, when my car went through their mechanical shop, my car was left with a terrible grease/oil/b.o. smell. The bass and treble levels on my car radio were also turned way up. They refused to clean the car without my waiting an entire day (it's my only car, so I couldn't) and the man I was speaking to was generally rude and unsympathetic. On Prime's phone message, it says its work is "all in the details." But they didn't care about the details, or detailing, of my car. |

I was working through a third-party claim with the other driver's insurance company, Geico. They recommended Prime for their "Xpress" repair service. I am fairly picky on who gets to touch my vehicle for repairs, so I was hesitant to jump on the first offer. Everything seemed pretty good about Prime after doing some quick research, so I consented. The check-in process was easy and the rental car was ready when I arrived. Chad reviewed the damage and took photos of the vehicle while I was there. Everyone commented on how clean my car was for being nearly 12 years old. We reviewed his notes on work scope and I left the vehicle with Prime for repairs. I picked up the vehicle today and the process was nearly as easy as dropping it off. While the metal and paintwork looked very good at first glance, I was a little disappointed with the condition in which the vehicle was returned to me. There was paint overspray on the rear door, the roof looked like someone drove it down a dusty road while it was wet, an odd amount of dirt and gritty material was left inside the rear trim, the inside rear door frame has rough spots where it looks like the clear wasn't allowed to dry before it was disturbed, and a large amount of adhesive is still present inside the door frame from where it was taped off during paint. The vehicle had been very thoroughly cleaned by hand before I left it with them, so I'm quite positive that none of this was present prior to the repairs. They were able to fix the overspray while I was there, but I didn't notice much of the rest until I had already returned home and inspected more thoroughly. Overall, on initial impressions, I'd give the entire experience three and a half stars. The workmanship seemed slightly better than I expected, but was overshadowed by the excessive number of obvious oversights in final prep. I understand my car isn't new and I don't expect it to look new, but I was hoping that it would be returned repaired and wouldn't require me to perform any additional work (like removing a large amount of adhesive and rewashing the car by hand) to put it back in pre-collision condition. |

| Ruthy Heiler | 1.0 | We used Prime Body and Paint after an accident when our Geico insurance adjuster recommended them. BIG MISTAKE! They made the repairs (or so they claimed) and we picked up the car. It still had the following issues:
1. Front passenger side door will not open from the inside
2. Wire over strut going into side fender
3. SRS-Airbag light is on. We believe it could be caused from the driver's side seat belt that is making a metal grinding noise when pulling out to fasten. It sounds like something broke off inside the side panel when the seatbelt locked during the accident.
4. The steering wheel makes a squealing noise when turned.
5. Intermittent mechanical clunking when changing gears going down the road and/or when shifting
6. Grinding noise from the driver side wheel area when driving
7. Sounds like air coming in from somewhere on the front driver's side area
We emailed these issues (copied from my email) and returned the car. They fixed some issues but we returned the car 3 different times due to continuous issues with rattling/clunking noise etc. and we were ultimately told that the noises were from the “new” parts settling in and would go away over time. They never did.
My husband went to a reputable auto mechanic school so he has a good understanding of cars. He said that some of the parts he was told were replaced were not.
They said the repairs are under a lifetime warranty but we do not trust them to make the necessary repairs as they have lied to us to begin with. Basically we are now out of pocket our deductible AND the cost to complete the necessary repairs ourselves. Geico gave them $7,000+ and our car was never fixed properly. Go somewhere else. |

Had to bring the car back again because horn did not work. Fixed it within 30 minutes. Horn worked, then broke again. Back again...fingers crossed. |

| camden roseboom | 2.0 | Got into a nasty accident with a deer awhile back involving my front bumper and my driver side door. They needed to be replaced. It hit hard so the damage was extensive. Everything seemed fine at first after getting the car back, but before I could even get into the car, I noticed the weatherstrip above the door was hanging down like someone had just forgotten to finish that issue or it just wouldn't go in. Not only that, but the driver side door that was replaced does NOT match up evenly where the back side of the door meets the rear of the car. It looks like the door was just slapped on and no body work was done to try and match up the body and the door evenly. The new bumper was a pretty good fit though, besides a small uneven part on the driver side. As for the door.. It's pretty noticeable when approaching from the driver side. When I went to go mention this to prime a little while back, they just told me basically there's no fixing it and that's just the way it is. I just want the gap between the door and the body to.be eliminated. You don't even need to run your hand over the body to feel for it. Pretty disappointed. |
